During this hands-on workshop, participants got to taste Ashton's cellars wines while learning how to prepare nutritious and delicious appetizers and desserts that are easy to make, and always a crowd pleaser. Guests also learned about simple tips and tricks about healthy cooking and nutrition.

This is one of my Food & Nutrition classes I offer on a regular basis for kids 7-12 years of age at a local cooking school in Bellevue. During this class, participants learned about the difference between sushi rice and long-grain rice and how to wash, cook, and season the rice. They also learned how to prepare a variety of vegetarian fillings (e.g. cucumbers, carrots, mango, cream cheese strips, etc.) and how to roll up a perfect looking and delicious sushi roll.
